NEW YORK and LOS ANGELES, April 26, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — SiriusXM and innovative podcast content studio High audio today announced the upcoming launch of two new original scripted music podcasts, the first co-branded productions under the creative and strategic agreement between the two companies.

The two new scripted podcast series – the second season of a critically acclaimed country musical Build it up as you go and a highly anticipated new sci-fi/comedy musical series Sonic Leap – were co-produced by Audio Up and SiriusXM and will premiere on May 3 on SiriusXM audio entertainment platforms – including the SXM app, Pandora and Stitcher – and other major podcast platforms in the United States

Build It As You Go: Season 2 continues the gripping story of an ambitious young country singer Charlotte Sayles (performed by singer, songwriter, actor and series co-creator Scarlett Burk), which has now made its way into from Nashville a male-dominated country hit the factory to shake things up and make it famous. Burke and Audio Up Founder and CEO Jared Gutstadtwho co-created the series, both starring in the series and providing original music with the acclaimed actor Garrett HedlundGRAMMY Award-winning producer and artist Shooter Jennings, music icon Nile Rodgers, GRAMMY-nominated artist Elle Kingprime Nashville songwriter Liz RoseKat & Alex, Breland, Abby Anderson, and Chord Overstreet. Sonic Leap is the completely made up backstory of an actual rock act heroes the group – four Atlanta-based fraternal brothers who are fired in 1985 to “change their future and the future of music”. The series was created and co-written by the founder and CEO of Audio Up Jared Gutstadt and features original music by Gutstadt, Jeff Peters, and Hero the Band. Actor Anthony Anderson (Blackish, Law & Order) makes his podcast acting debut in this nostalgic scripted musical series. Rap star Trippie Redd co-stars and contributes music. The series will also unlock the first album of the Atlantabased on the band, to be released on Audio Up Records. The album’s lead single, “Might Find Love,” recently premiered on SiriusXM. Gutstadt will appear on SiriusXM Volume (ch. 106) on May 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EST for a special featuring an exclusive interview with Questionable co-host Alain Lumiere and the world premiere of the first episodes of Sonic Leap and Build It As You Go: Season 2. The program will be available on demand via the SXM app after the broadcast.
