Amy Schumer and Michael Cera lead new Hulu comedy series [Trailer]

If you’d rather be at the Nordstrom Rack than the club, this new Hulu series is for you.
Amy Schumer stars in Life and Bethwhich follows a woman who uproots the life she knows as she tries to process old wounds and figure out her future.

Schumer writes, directs and produces the series, in addition to starring in it. The series also stars Michael Cera, Susannah Flood, Violet Young, Kevin Kane, Yamaneika Saunders, Laura Benanti, Larry Owens, Michael Rapaport, Rosebud Walker, and LaVar Walker. Kane also serves as an EP, along with Daniel Powell and Ryan McFaul.
Here is the official synopsis of Life and Beth from Hulu:
Beth’s life would look pretty good on paper. Impressive for everyone she grew up with. She earns a good living as a wine seller. She is in a long-term relationship with a successful man who lives in Manhattan. When a sudden incident forces Beth to engage with her past, her life changes forever. Through flashbacks to her teenage years, Beth begins to learn how she became who she is and who she wants to become. We will continue his journey towards building a bigger, bolder and more authentic life. Learn to express yourself and live intentionally. A trip down memory lane is a strong source of trauma, comedy, and moving forward.
