Comedian Andy Parsons postponed date for Lynn
Funnyman Andy Parsons’ Healing The Nation tour stops at the Alive Corn Exchange this fall.
The coronavirus pandemic has caused the postponement of several of his concerts but the date postponed for Lynn to Saturday September 11.
The Mock The Week, Live At The Apollo and QI star said: “I was in the middle of a UK tour when theaters had to close due to the lockdown – and the tour was called Healing The Nation – so this title worked well.
“This will turn out to be the longest tour ever, taking three years, and as the tour progressed there was less and less healing and more and more the opposite.” Granted, I could have changed the title, but it still seems oddly appropriate – and some of the concerts have been rescheduled, which would confuse existing ticket holders if the ticket said “Healing The Nation” but the show was now called “My Life In Ballet”.
“So we rewrote it in series” Healing The Nation Tour 2019/2020 now extended to 2021/2022 due to popular demand but also mainly the lack of open theaters. And with negative healing powers. “
“Still, this latest version of the series is my favorite so far.”
Andy has also appeared on BBC’s Question Time, The Daily Politics, This Week and Newsnight.
In recent times he has held rallies for the People’s Vote at the Electric Ballroom, Central Hall Westminster and Parliament Square in front of more than 100,000 people, as well as at the Independent Age’s latest campaign against the solitude.
Tickets for the show (8pm start) are priced at £ 16.50 and can be booked at www.kingslynncornexchange.co.uk or by calling the box office on 01553 764864.
