American comedian Bob Saget dies aged 65
Bob Saget’s cause of death was not stroke or heart attack, but actually head trauma.
The Full House star, 65, died last month after a concert in Orlando.
He was found dead in a hotel room shortly after playing a two-hour gig and while reports immediately said there were “no signs of foul play or drug use”, his family has now explained exactly what happened.
It was discovered that the star accidentally hit his head before falling asleep after the concert.
It is believed that the star was unaware of the severity of this head trauma which triggered a cerebral hemorrhage.
In a statement to TMZ, the family said: “Now that we have the final findings of the authorities’ investigation, we felt it was only right for fans to hear those findings directly from us.

“Authorities have determined that Bob died of head trauma. They concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, didn’t think about it, and fell asleep. No drugs nor alcohol were involved.”
The statement continued: “As we continue to grieve together, we ask everyone to remember the love and laughter Bob brought to this world, and the lessons he taught us all: to be kind with everyone, letting the people you love know you love them and getting through the tough times with hugs and laughter.”
Bob was tragically pronounced dead at the scene after emergency services were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando last month.
He had toured the United States, his last dates taking him to venues in Florida. He performed at a show in Jacksonville and then tweeted about the audience.
He commented in a post on Twitter: “Loved tonight’s show @PV_ConcertHall in Jacksonville. Grateful audience. Thanks again to @RealTimWilkins for opening up. Had no idea I did a set 2 o’clock tonight. I’m addicted to this s* *t again.”
Following news of his death, fans and famous people gathered to pay their respects to the star.
Among that sending of condolence messages were her Full House co-stars. Bob played single dad Danny Tanner on the popular sitcom.

John Stamos also took to Twitter to express his grief and wrote: “I’m broken. I’m gutted. I’m in total and utter shock. I’ll never have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby.”
Dave Coulier then tweeted: “I will never let go bro. I love you.”
