Stand-up comedian Matt Forde has blasted a parent who brought his crying baby to his Edinburgh Fringe comedy show.
The political satirist said “large parts” of his show “went off the rails” because the person “wouldn’t do the decent thing and just walk away” when his newborn baby boy started crying.
Mr Forde, who is also on tour on his show ‘Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right’, said he had received messages from other attendees after the performance ‘about it pissing them off. ****es”.
He is now urging new parents not to bring their babies on adult shows, saying it’s “always a problem”.
Taking to Twitter to express his frustration over the incident, Mr Forde wrote: ‘Someone brought their baby to my show last night.’

Matt Forde received positive feedback from people who had been in the audience for the show
Matt Forde said the person ‘wouldn’t do the decent thing and just walk away’ when his baby started crying, and is now urging all new parents to avoid bringing their newborns to shows.
“Unfortunately that derailed a lot of it because they wouldn’t do the decent thing and just leave when he started crying.
“I understand it must be difficult as a new parent, but please don’t bring babies on adult shows.”
“It’s always a problem.”
Mr Forde, known for voicing Boris Johnson and Donald Trump in Spitting Image, added: ‘I realize that sounds a bit whiny, but that’s just to make sure it doesn’t happen again.’
“It’s like someone’s phone is ringing continuously and they don’t turn it off.
“I got so many messages from people who were there last night who were very polite about it scaring them off.”
