Comedy Festival Early Bird Tickets Available – Times-Standard
The 10th annual Savage Henry Comedy Festival will take place October 7-9 at multiple venues in Eureka.
Over the past decade, the humorous Savage Henry magazine has brought hundreds of comedians from across the country to Humboldt County for three days of jokes, shows and entertainment.
“Having barely hosted a much smaller ninth annual Savage Henry Comedy Festival in October 2020, we are ready to bring the festival back to its full potential,” said Editor-in-Chief / Editor Chris Durant.
Over 100 comedians from across the country will perform at venues such as the Savage Henry Comedy Club, Humboldt Cider Co. Tap Room, The Madrone, Zen Cannabis, Oberon Grill and more.
The Early Bird All Fest bracelets are available for a limited time (sale ends July 31) for $ 45 at savagehenrycomedyclub.eventbrite.com. Regular-priced bracelets will be $ 65. Individual show coverage fees will range from $ 5 to $ 25.
“I expect the festival more than any party. It’s great to see comedians from all over the states and as a local I love showing off how amazing our region is, ”said local comedian Jessica Grant.
“This comedy festival is a festival not to be missed,” said local actress Stephanie Knowles.
“You have great comics with killer sets, unique shows with fun twists and a fun atmosphere that will make you want to stick around all weekend!”
So far, some headliners include Glendale’s Dave Ross; Valerie Tosi, former student of iO West and Second City Hollywood; Sam Tallent of Denver; Abdullah Saeed, co-host of the “Great Moments in Weed History” podcast; and Jessica Grant, a regular performer at the Savage Henry Comedy Festival and producer of a monthly showcase at the Savage Henry Comedy Club in Eureka.
