PICKLED, the celebrity pickleball tournament, produced by by Stephen Colbert Spartina, Funny Or Die and CBS Studios will air on Thursday, November 17 (9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*. In anticipation of PICKLED, Comic Relief has released the first-ever goal paddles, a national peer-to-peer fundraising event where anyone can dedicate their game of pickleball to raising money for children and families facing homelessness as a donation to play. Paddles for Purpose will conclude with a live event co-created with The kitchenthe largest online pickleball community in the world. LIVE use paddles will take place at the Griffin Club in Los Angeles on November 12 of 1pm-5pm PT. Games can also be played anywhere, anytime thanks to November 22n/a, with funds supporting Comic Relief’s safety programs for children and families. On Thursday, November 17e (9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. ET/PT), Stephane ColbertSpartina, Funny or Die and CBS are teaming up with Comic Relief to rekindle the magic of creating change through comedy with MARINE. Sixteen celebrities will participate in this two-hour sports comedy special to raise funds that support Comic Relief’s safety programs, which address the heartbreaking impact of homelessness and the lack of safety often experienced by children and families living in poverty.

These new events will join Comic Relief US’s signature fundraising campaigns, including red nose daywho raised a total of $380 million bringing together brands, celebrities and communities nationwide committed to ensuring children in need are safe, healthy, educated and empowered. Paddles for Purpose and PICKLED will motivate legions of Pickleball players to get involved in the game to help children and families experiencing homelessness, and kick off the holiday season with two uplifting and energizing events for good.
