Upcoming gigs include Wheobe, Mark Morris of The Bluetones and Pat Fulgoni Blues Experience.

Pat Fulgoni has played Glastonbury four times with Kava Kava and once with legendary Radio 1 DJ John Peel’s favorite dub band, Zion Train. He will play The Grayston Unity at 4 p.m. on Sunday, August 7.

Owner and music promotion veteran in Halifax, Michael Ainsworth, said: “A really exciting and diverse program has been put together which will work wonderfully in our fantastic little bar and venue.

“The size of our space has not limited our ambitions in terms of who we have booked and it further establishes us as one of the most culturally significant venues in the region.

“The pandemic has shown how important arts and culture is to a place and we are proud of what we have achieved and will bring to the city in the future.”

Michael also organizes Town – a mini festival featuring over 20 concerts, talks and DJ sets at venues in downtown Halifax in October.

Regular Grayston Unity events, such as monthly social and cultural talks and the ever-popular open mic remain on the schedule. Some events are free. For more details visit www.thegraystonunity.co.uk.
