After months of development, production and fine-tuning, it’s time to make the decision for dozens of broadcast pilots hoping to get the green light for the series for the 2021-2022 TV season.

As the big studios rack up series orders over the coming week of network presentations, it’s time to book the wins and losses. The clear theme of the series orders unveiled so far are franchises, embedded intellectual property, and procedural drama in a year where the total volume of development has declined significantly due to disruption from the pandemic.

Here’s a breakdown by conglomerate and studio footprint of the new comedy, drama, and unscripted series orders to date, to be updated regularly as broadcast, cable, and television programming managers. streaming tout their products in the days to come.

This year, virtual programming presentations will take place May 17-19 in lieu of the traditional razzle-dazzle staged at Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall and other venues in New York City.
