Schitt Creek presided over a clean sweep of all major comedy categories at the 2020 Emmys, winning nine trophies for his final season on Pop TV. Although it is unlikely Any of this year’s contenders will dominate to that extent, one show enters awards season with buzz to spare.
We are referring, of course, to Apple TV + Breakout Ted lasso, which since its debut last summer has amassed an impressive crop of congratulations. UK-based sports satire Jason Sudeikis will undoubtedly win a slew of major nominations, starting with a well-deserved nod for Best Comedy Series – and she’s also on our list of Dream nominees. Emmy.

For the record, the nominations for the 2021 Emmy Awards will be voted from June 17 to 28 and unveiled on July 13. The 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards are scheduled to air Sunday, September 19 on CBS.
