1. Ingrid goes west

This dark comedy-drama stars Aubrey Plaza as a mentally unstable woman who moves to California to manipulate an influencer into befriending her. If dark humor and critiques of fandom culture are your thing, then, well, this is your thing.

2. Los Espookys

This bilingual Spanish and English comedy is technically an HBO original, but it’s worth it. Created by and starring Salvadoran comedian and former SNL writer Julio Torres, the series follows a group of friends who run a fraudulent supernatural business in an unnamed Latin American country.

3. Ugly Betty

This classic comedy is perfect for binge-watching. America Ferrera plays the title character, an unconventional beauty who lands a job at a hip fashion magazine in New York.

4. Mayans MC

You don’t have to be a Sons of Anarchy fan to watch this spin-off. Starting nearly three years later Sons of Anarchy over, the series follows EZ Reyes, the gifted son of a Mexican American family, as he solves the mystery of his mother’s death while getting a little revenge along the way.
