James Bond star Pierce Brosnan in Netflix action comedy cast

James bond legend Pierce Brosnan has joined the cast of Netflix The outlaw.

According to Deadline, the Irishman will appear opposite Adam Devine (Perfect) in the upcoming action comedy, which focuses on Owen Browning, a “single bank manager about to marry the love of his life.”

When Owen’s branch is blocked off by the Ghost Bandits the week he gets married, he begins to believe that his future in-laws (who have just arrived in town) could be the armed thieves.

Devine is on board to play the protagonist, while Brosnan’s role is unclear at this time.

Evan Turner and Ben Zazove wrote the screenplay, which is slated to be directed by Tyler Spindel.

In other Netflix-flavored news, the streamer’s next load of movies to hit its UK library was confirmed this week.

On July 26, get ready for 2017’s historic star-studded drama The current war, before Gosford Park, The hitman’s apprentice, Solomon Kane, Time and tide, World Trade Center and Young Guns II all become available less than a week later.

Adaptation of Roald Dahl from Wes Anderson Fantastic Mr. Fox, A few good men and Epic movie were also added earlier this week.

The outlaw will air on Netflix.
