Michael Imperioli and Fabian Alomar join Chris Estrada’s Hulu Comedy series
EXCLUSIVE: The Sopranos alum Michael Imperioli and Fabian Alomar (Mayas MC) were selected for highly recurring roles alongside Chris Estrada in the Hulu comedy series This crazy guy, by ABC Signature.
Written by rising Latino comedian Estrada and Business creators Jake Weisman, Matt Ingebretson and Pat Bishop, the series stars Estrada as Julio Lopez, a “punk slut” who still lives at home and goes out of his way to help everyone except himself. The half-hour series sees Lopez working at a nonprofit gang rehabilitation organization and his quest to overcome his codependency issues with his family as he navigates working-class life in the inner city. south of Los Angeles.

Imperioli will play Minister Leonard Payne, the founder of the Hugs Not Thugs gang drug rehabilitation center. He is fatherly, has a slightly crazy temperament, perceptive and pragmatic. Imperioli won an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his lead role as Christopher Moltisanti on HBO. The Sopranos. He also wrote five episodes of the series and was a co-writer of the film.
