“I think of them once in a while, kind of like you would a friend you haven’t seen in a while, ‘Oh, what would they do.

“And so I certainly thought about where they might be and what would happen with all of them.”
“Circumstances didn’t quite align. But that’s something I would say I don’t rule out now.

The BBC has yet to confirm whether it will air Miranda’s new series.

In 2020, viewers of BBC’s Big Night In rejoiced when Miranda reunited with her former co-stars for a special skit at the fundraiser.
Miranda, who played her title character, told viewers the lockdown was fine with her, with flashbacks showing scenes from the sitcom that prove she’s best left inside.
This included attending her parents’ “naughty knitting night” and entertaining herself in various unique ways at home.
During the skit, Miranda was taken aback as she talked to a mop with Gary’s [Tom] face on it, and told her she knew she was beautiful.
However, moments later, Gary appeared on screen for a Zoom call and he asked what she was doing and if that was her face.
