Pup’s soccer skills go viral as fans dub him “Kenny Dogleash”
The dog owner who has gone viral on Twitter for his footballing skills has described his pet’s newfound fame as “hilarious.”
Carl Reigler of West Derby filmed his seven-month-old cavapoo Freddie empowering his mother with a quick ‘kickback’ technique designed to send your opponent in the wrong direction.
He uploaded the short clip to Twitter and it has now been viewed over a million times, with Twitter users dubbing him “Kenny Dogleash”.

A self-described “long-time tortured Everton fan” said he had noticed Freddie’s talent before.
Carl said: âIt was Christmas morning, the puppies were opening all their presents (they get more than me) and Freddie has just started playing soccer with his new ball.
“I noticed he was quite talented and just made a little video!
“He’s always chasing a ball and I think he would probably do a job for Everton’s current squad.”
As executive producer of the Have a Word podcast (which recently won Pod Bible’s Best British Comedy award), Carl said it was “hilarious and frustrating” that Freddie’s video was able to reach so many people. .
He told ECHO: “I create content online every day of the week so getting my dog ââto get a million views for a second is hilarious and frustrating because I wish I could do that with it. all my content. ”
Twitter users were quick to nickname Freddie “Sniffy Butt”, “Kenny Dogleash”, “Johan Crufts” and “Pawtrick Vieira”, among others.
