Vampire Diaries and Marvel stars join new Netflix comedy
The Vampire diary star Nina Dobrev and guardians of the galaxyby Michael Rooker are the latest additions to the new Netflix comedy The outlaws.
They join Ellen Barkin (Toronto man), Poorna Jagannathan (I have never), Julie Hagerty (Marriage story), Richard Kind (tick, tick … Boom!), Lil Rel Howery (free guy), and Blake Anderson (workaholics) in the star-studded cast.
Adam Devine, who will direct the new film, is no stranger to comedies. He played Bumper Allen in Perfect, Mike Stangle in Mike and Dave need wedding dates, Noah Ashby in When we first met, and Andy Bailey in Modern family.

Pierce Brosnan, from James bond and Mom mia glory, was also asked to join the cast of the film.
The film will be directed by Tyler Spindel, who directed the Netflix comedy The bad Missy, and is written by Evan Turner and Ben Zazove. It follows Owen Browning (Devine) as a motley bank manager who thinks his in-laws are the infamous Ghost Bandits, who rob the bank he works in the week before his marriage to their daughter, who is The love of his life.
Adam Sandler’s production company Happy Madison will produce alongside Devine.

Rooker is best known for playing Yondu in Marvel’s guardians of the galaxy, the adoptive father of our favorite Star Lord, Peter Quill. It was last seen in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, when he sacrificed his life to save Quill after the destruction of Ego’s planet.
Meanwhile, Dobrev is famous for playing Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce in The CW’s The vampire diary. Her first acting role was in Degraded: The next generation, and most recently she was the star of the romantic comedy Love hard.
No release date for the The outlaws has yet been announced.
