Where are the CBS ghosts filmed? TV shows filming locations

CBS’s âGhostsâ is a supernatural comedy that follows the riddle of Samantha (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar), a couple who inherit a magnificent country estate filled with ghosts from distinct eras. Based on the eponymous British sitcom, the haunted house comedy is created by Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard and Ben Willbond. âGhostsâ finds its charm when Samantha begins to communicate with the set of Ghosts, who are determined to stand in the way of the couple’s decision to convert the estate into guesthouses.
What follows is a heartfelt comedy with a group of lovable ghosts wandering around the majestic estate in which they reside. With the protagonists and the spooky group of the dead, the lavish realm in which the sitcom is set is awe-inspiring. Acting as a character itself, the estate presents the perfect setting for ghost playfulness by tying them together. Captivated by the beauty of “Ghosts”, we covered the filming locations in detail. We’ll take a look!

Los Angeles, California
The “Ghosts” pilot was shot dead at a property on South San Rafael Avenue in Pasadena. The iconic estate, which is also the home of Bruce Wayne in the 1966 movie “Batman”, sets the stage for the sitcom. The highlight of the show, the vintage estate, offers everything a supernatural tale demands. In the sitcom, ancestral property is passed to Samantha after the death of her aunt. With all its splendor, the grand mansion creates an appeal that enhances the outlook for the show.
Montreal, Quebec
After the shooting of the pilot episode, the sitcom’s production team moved to Canada, more specifically to Montreal. In an interview with CBS Denver, Asher Grodman, who plays Trevor on the show, spoke about the filming’s move from LA to Montreal: âIt’s a team sport. They rebuilt this house in Montreal and the attention to detail is amazing. The team went to great lengths to make filming possible in Montreal by rebuilding the domain and the venues.
Montreal’s sunny summer definitely enriched the energy of the cast to make the show more lively. Montreal has also served as a filming location for other TV shows and movies like “Deception Blvd.”, “Pieces of a Woman”, “Arrival”, “Transplant”, “The Voyeurs”, “Chaos Walking”, between others.
